Created by artist Oliver Hambsch, in collaboration with Dream Press, Cupio Dissolvi #01 takes its title from the Latin locution "I wish to be dissolved," which originally expressed the Christian desire to leave the earthly life and join Christ in eternal life. The zine, riso printed in only two colours – red and blue – explores the representation of life, death and transcendence in found images, many bent beyond immediate recognition. Cupio Dissolvi #01 was produced in a limited edition of 30.
