Pairing Chloë’s primary preoccupations in material and motif – textiles and pathways, respectively – Passage with open doors offers a constellation of hanging shapes arranged in and below a wooden frame. Sewn from fabric off-cuts and strung up with coloured string, the abstract shapes offer themselves as uncertain compositional elements, each tied only loosely to the otherwise empty frame.
