Avenue Patrice Lumumba comprises Guy Tillim's photographs taken in Mozambique, DR Congo, Madagascar, Angola and Benin in 2007/8, beautifully reproduced, each photograph occupying a double-page spread. Introductory texts are by Robert Gardner and Guy Tillim, and appear in French and Portuguese as well as English.
