Sukuma Mkhize works at the intersection of art and astronomy. During his time as artist-in-residence at A4 Arts in 2019, Mkhize held conversations with creators in the fields of geometry, astrophysics, and sound. This zine, titled Urban Astronomy in Four Parts, is a record of these conversations, and includes Mkhize's brown paper sketches and musings.

The zine includes conversations with electronic music producer, score composer and recording artist Nicolaas van Reenen; interdisciplinary artists Mia Thom and David Brits; and Head of Department of Maths & Applied Mathematics at UCT, Professor Jeff Murugan.

17.8 x 22.5 cm | 16 pages | softcover
