"adjective is a filter applied to looking, bridging the artistic encounter with words. Words present a way of making sense of what we see, touch, smell and hear. They fill in the holes that escape our senses and provide histories to a space where only the artwork once existed."

It was edited by Matthew Partridge and featured contributions from Khanya Mashabela, Ashraf Jamal, Sean O’Toole, Thembinkosi Goniwe and Andrew Lamprecht, amongst others.
