“In each other, Franke Theunissen and Albert Retief found their influence. In South Korea, they found each other. 
  
Recognising a dedication to photography, desire to travel and the likeness of what excites them, they left their home on the peninsula and journeyed north to Russia. From Vladivostok they travelled west by train, covering many thousands of kilometres and visiting towns and cities dotting the way. Arriving at Moscow, and then at the border, they kept on to Georgia, winding the passes of the Caucasus Mountains.”
