Published by blank projects, this monograph features textiles, sculpture and video work by Gerda Scheepers made between 2009 and 2016. In most of her works, Scheepers manipulates and plays with material garments to create large expansive works that loosely resemble the human form. This focus on the body can be seen threaded throughout the publication.

Gerda Scheepers (b.1979) is a contemporary artist born in Tzaneen, South Africa. She graduated from the Kunstakademie Düsseldorf Germany in 2005 and currently lives and works in Berlin, Germany.
