From the artist:
“I don’t make social commentary in my art – I leave that to the viewer. I make personal art about Turiya, art that I hope will evoke your pain or your political frame of mind.”
Published by blank projects, this monograph features full-colour images with accompanying notes written by the artist. Included in the publication is an essay – Double-Edged Histories: Turiya Magadlela – by Same Mdluli.
